When our emotions conquer us, words are often not the appropriate means of expression. Then, through creativity, color takes the place of words.

Marilena Christodoulou was born in Larnaca (Cyprus) in 1981. In 1999 she graduated from the Dianelleio Technical School of Larnaca in the field of Graphic Arts and Interior Design where she attended courses in Painting, Architectural Design, Graphic Design and Decoration. Until 2001 she has collaborated with several painters who taught her the art of painting and its different techniques. This cooperation pushed her to explore the world of art and to experiment boldly with various materials and techniques. In 2008 she graduated from the School of Fine Arts in Urbino Italy, where she tried new materials and experimented in photography. She studied etching and other techniques.
