Moments of everyday life with human figures painted in a cartoon style with bold colors and distinct forms give feelings of joy, wonder, carefree, but also sorrow.
Liza Pentheroudaki was born in Athens. She graduated from “LYKEION ATHINA” by G. Ziridi. She worked for 15 years in the family business (jewelry store PENTHEROUDAKIS). Her desire to be involved with art, urged to study interior design in London at KLC College. Then she worked as Head of Wigmore Fine Arts Gallery. Returning to Athens she was involved professionally in interior decoration. She is active in many fields around the art. In the Workshop of Fine Arts she specialized in wood processing. Samples of her work were exhibited at the Cultural Center of the City of Athens in March 2009. An important event for her was her inspiration to organize a nationwide exhibition of artists with disabilities. It was organized in cooperation with the agency VERY SPECIAL ARTS HELLAS, whose she is now a member of the Board (Art Gallery Melina Mercouri, September 1998). By combining art with her love for children, first in Hatzikyriakio Foundation and is followed at Children’s Hospital “Aghia Sophia” she entertains children with creative painting combined with fairy tales and music.
