Nikos Chalvatzis, an idiosyncratic songwriter with a new way of expression and sound will perform songs from his two personal albums: the “Plano Exodou” (“Exit Plan”) in Sokratis Malamas production (involving Malamas, Tania Tsanaklidou, Theodosia Tsatsou and Giorgos Michail) and “Golem #” (with the participation of Maria Papageorgiou), as well as in progress songs from the end of the trilogy to come.

Kostas Tsiolis, Keys (Rhodes, synthesizer, toy piano)
Kostas Tsiolis was born in 1985. He lives and works in Athens as a musician. He has composed music for theater, short films and for personal use. He participates in audacious bands, collaborates with promising songwriters and occasionally works as an outdoor music.

Nick Chalvatzis recorded his first album “Plano Exodou” (“Exit Plan“) (Lyra) in Sokratis Malamas production in 2006 and got great reviews debut composer. In the album, except from himself, songs were performed by Sokratis Malamas, Tanya Tsanaklidou, Theodosia Tsatsou, Giorgos Michail and Martha Iliadou. In 2010 his second solo album was released, titled “Golem #” (Lyra) with the participation of Maria Papageorgiou in the song “Telos” (“End“) also earning considerable criticism.
He has composed original music for theater (Tiresias directed by Elena Timplalexi, Experimental Stage of the National Theatre – 2005, Scars directed by Afroditi Parzakoni, Apletoi Kipoi Group in collaboration with Nikos Platia and Christos Tolis – 2011) and film (Damo Suzuki, documentary, directed by journalist Antonis Boskoitis – 2007) and in 2011 he participated in the tribute collection of Lena Platonos “Whoever sees her screams her name” on the adaptation of the song “Only in poetry K. Karyotakis”.
Nick Chalvatzis creates and records in warehouses and lofts, with whatever comes up and borrows, concept albums storyline and roles, handling the songs as episodes. He borrows sound colors and styles at will avoiding as much as allowed, stereotypes.
He was born in Athens in 1975, and studied piano and theory at the Conservatory of Kozani ochtaetias – unsuccessfully. He is completing the daily studies in Electrical Engineering specializing in the management of EU funds. After a short tour in the fields of Greek province, he was reinstated in the city for further studies.
