Andreas Psarakos | Figures in Two and Three Dimensions

A presentation of 80 works (acrylic, mixed media and pencil drawings, indian and sculptures with wire and plaster), which the artist made the last 15 years. Harmonizing every time the writing with the substance of the stimulus, Psarakos manages to equate through inventive solutions his artistic expression with unlimited imagination. With a flawless work he gives us the idiosyncrasy of the depicted forms and the atmosphere in what irritates each time fundamentally his psyche. Eminently expressive human figures sheathed in the midst of everyday life are transmitters and receivers of mental consciousness of the artist. Particularly sensitive to color, Psarakos manages to distract through a special atmosphere in his paintings’ compositions that focus on nature. In each case the visitor does not stay uninvolved in the appeal of Psarakos works. Andreas Psarakos was born in Velo, Korinthos, Greece in 1958. His first painting lessons made ​​them in the studio Vrasidas Vlachopoulos. He continued his studies in Vakalo School with teachers Vangelis Dimitreas and Yannis Valavanidis. From 1981 to 1983 he studied at the German School of Graphic Arts and studied under a state scholarship next to Sophia Kana at the program of plant colors study.
