Successive stimuli from various and everyday impressions form in her subconscious abstract images which are constantly defragmented by memory. Their visual expression becomes a system of chromatic bursts of resonance frequencies, expressing internal tensions and vibrations, expanding and sometimes contracting space. Space, indeed and light are identical in her painting, which forms each time the stratigraphy of internal conflicts fluid field and continuous rearrangement of a matter that denatures drastically oscillations of its dynamic. In her painting important is strength and range of emotion, which is both transmitter and receiver. This wide and exuberant feeling is filtered and harnessed by true artistic “roots” and thus organized into compositions that acquire many times the character of music. The painter is not interested in the performance of the narrative, but the plot of the image itself, as deconstructed and through different every time quality valences of form and color balances, is rewritten from the elements that compose it, making the viewer feel part of the work....more

Lilika Ampadogianni – Levanti was born in Athens. She graduated from the School of Architecture of the National Technical University of Athens with “teachers” Hadjikyriakos – Ghika Orlando, Michelis, Pikionis, Engonopoulos and Soho. She has been an assistant professor at the building department under Professor Kyprianou Biris between 1962 and 1965. She made postgraduate studies in Holland with scholarship in Housing and Design areas. She worked in the public sector as an Architect with applications in numerous constructions of buildings and complexes and retired with the rank of Director from the Ministry of Land and Housing. She has specialized in the preservation and renovation of traditional buildings and complexes and in the respective open spaces and squares. Her professional career extends beyond the Architectural work in interior design, in graphic design, in editing art publications and issues, in organizing exhibitions of Architecture, Painting, Sculpture, in editing of models, brochures and posters etc. As a painter she is credited many solo and group exhibitions in Greece and abroad.
