Errin Gie | I Am Magnet Realism

History is a part of life. Through our eyes we see history being made, so through her hands and fingers she captures it on canvas. A story that inspires thoughts from her childhood and fairytales from her country. She is not perfect, but “realism” makes her perfect as does “art”. Like an opiate, painting is her high, day by day it is pulling her like a magnet. Through colors she is telling a story about life, love and passion. Her paintings make fairytales that never really existed come to life.

I do not put any limits on myself.

Errin Gie was born and grew up in Indonesia. She studied Architecture at the University of Indonesia. During the last years, she lives in Greece. She has had solo and group exhibitions in Indonesia and Greece. [Biography updated on: 3/11/2015]
