A walk in the forest, the scent of a flower, the coolness of the drops of a lake, the view from the top of a mountain formed the stimulus of my painting exploration: the relationship of the human body with nature. Water, soil and stones, trees and leaves, air and their uniquely harmonious and eternal relationship create for me awe and boundless happiness when I find that I am an integral part of this wisdom. A tree that always raises its branches to the sky, stable and strong regardless of circumstances gives me strength to reach high. But I can also lean on its trunk, touch its roots and feel its history, what defines everything I am now. The warm soil I step on on a summer day floods my body with warmth and calms me down. Then I leave myself in the arms of the vast sea, close my eyes and automatically my mind clears as if its waters wash away all my worries and fears. The scents of flowers take me on a journey, they bring back memories. My nature gives birth to thoughts, feelings, brings me into contact with my body, gives me possibilities to confront my strengths and limits. After all, nature is what surrounds me and I am nature itself.
